20 years later…

Hard to believe it’s been nearly 20 years since the passing of Jerry Garcia. The wizened, ‘non-appointed leader’ of the Grateful Dead left this world August 9, 1995. With the collective sigh and consequent tears of millions, one of the founding members of the band that would play for 30 years and affect lives in, around and outside of their shows would no longer bend any strings in the ‘real world.’

A little tribue on what would have been Garcia's 70th birthday.

This featured piece was created to honor the man, the musical genius and artistry of Garcia. It was also meant as a personal tribute, utilizing the photography that Garcia – among others – made possible for me. Released shortly after his death, the unique photography has remained relevant – countless have enjoyed viewing it – and many have it hanging on their walls.
